| | The Story of The Ancients | Long ago the world was filled with peace. Human and beast roamed free barely aware of each other. Soon however this peace ended when A young sorceress met a shape-shifting beast whom she called "Bracia" which to her meant shadow beast because it was in the form of a shadow wolf. Every day after their first encounter she went back to where they had seen each other to see if Bracia had come back. Every day when she got there she found that an article of leather armor would be lain where Bracia had stood that day. One day her elder brother found her walking down the forest path to the place where she had met Bracia. When she reached the clearing that day instead of armor a large cat like beast standing before her. immediately her brother took action thinking that his sister was in danger. When he lunged however he was knocked back and killed by the cat like beast. The young sorceress had seen this and ran back to her home finding that her father had already found out about what had happened and being the leader of the humans he claimed action must be taken against the beasts. So a war was waged, and the sorceress instead of fighting with the humans fought with the beasts feeling that it was her duty to protect those whom she had caused danger. When the final battle ensued the humans went after the sorceress first. When the one of the humans tried to strike the girl however a bright white aura formed around her shielding her from the blow. Just then a man who glowed like the light emanating from the full moon stepped in front of the young sorceress, his eyes of pure silver dark and guarded. He said nothing as the battle ensued and human after human came at him. Those who dared to try and touch him fell with no effort from the man nor the girl. However a man snuck up behind the sorceress and stabbed her through the heart. A light shot out of the girl's wound and the god-like man seemed to shatter as she fell to the ground. Her heart stopped that day but the world is still in battle one side against another. |
